Sponsorship
KES is pleased to welcome the following sponsors to KES2011.Center for Mathematical and Computational Modelling (CM)2
The research center (CM)2 was founded at the University of Kaiserslautern in June 2008 as part of the Rhineland-Palatinate research initiative. Focussing on some prominent fields of application, it aims to show that mathematics and computer science represent a technology that is essential to engineers and natural scientists and that will help advance progress in relevant areas.

The institute deals with the design and the application of intelligent, environment-aware systems und their embodiment by integrated, adaptive electronics and sensors. In particular, bio-inspiration is exploited for that aim. A major focus of the research is on design automation of such systems. The institute contributes the courses on basics of electronics and circuits as well as measurement, instrumentation and sensors to the curriculum. In advanced courses, the design of integrated analog and mixed-signal circuits and integrated sensor systems as well as sensor signal processing, intelligent system design, and Neurocomputing are taught.
